Rules
Please take the time to read and understand the
following:
Safety is our primary concern, it is important to
note that the following rules at all sites must be adhered to.
---------- Dorking Specific
----------
- - Minimum age limit is 14 years old.
- - Box mags are frowned upon at Dorking, unless you are using
a support weapon (M249, M60 ect) An AEG with a box mag is not
a support weapon! Hicaps are fine.
--------- Power Limits ----------
- - All automatic and semi-automatic weapons are limited to 350fps(!)
with a 0.2g BBs, it should be made clear that this is the maximum
limit, even 1 fps over and you will not be allowed to use that
rifle! You should aim to have to rifle running at 340fps.
- - Snipers using single shot bolt action weapons are restricted
to 500 fps maximum using 0.2 BBs. There is also a 30 metre minimum
safety engagement range. All potential snipers will be expected
to be able to judge 30 metres distance, in front of a marshal;
before being allowed to play.
---------- General Safety ----------
- Eye protection to be worn at all times when outside of the
safe zone.
- We recommend you wear boots to help protect your feet and ankles
as it can be slippery.
- Full face protection must be worn by players under 18 years
old, unless a parent or guardian has signed a waiver. Over 18
we still recommend you use full face as engagements can get very
close but it is your choice.
- No firing weapons in the safe zone, this includes blank firing.
- No magazines to be loaded in the safe zone.
- No blind firing, this means you must be able to see your target
and them you.
- Only professional commercial made pyrotechnics can be used.
This means ones made by TLFX, Spectrum and Enola Gaye, please
check with a marshall first. Nothing louder than a Mk5 grenades
can be used.
- No moving or tearing down defences, anyone caught breaking
equipment or damaging the site will be asked to pay for damages
and leave.
- Friendly, controlled aggressive play at all times. Anyone found
to be playing in a dangerous or abusive manner will be asked to
leave.
- Please use toilet facilities provided.
- Eating or drinking outside of the safe zone is prohibited.
---------- Hit Rules ----------
- A BB strike on any part of the body is to be declared as a
hit, this includes fingers, toes, head, anywhere! There is no
body armour in Airsoft, thus helmets, rigs only offer pain relief.
- When you are hit you must clearly call “Hit” and
return to the safe zone or regeneration point. Raise your weapon
above your head, to indicate to other players that you are hit
and thus no longer a target. Calling out “Dead man walking”
can also help identify that you are no longer a target.
- Dead men DO NOT TALK, go straight to the regen point or safe
zone, without telling your mates and colleagues where you took
fire from. It takes skill to find good cover and concealment,
don’t ruin it by shouting out “he’s over there”.
At Elite we consider this almost bad as not taking your hits,
you will be warned once and then asked to leave.
- Firing should be controlled. One BB is sufficient to kill.
It does not take a hicap mag, over shooting is prohibited.
- If you are caught cheating you will be asked to leave. We will
not refund your money. Please take this seriously as we have a
zero tolerance for cheating.
